The Courtyard

In March 2012 we were invited to provide a design proposal for all the external and internal signage requirements for this new bar & restaurant.

This was an exciting project for us the owners were very specific about designs and they included a lot of unique elements relating to the interior décor.

After meeting to discuss the vision for the restaurant we were able to present designs and detailed drawings from the brief we had been given with the focus being on their signature logo of a monkey.

We were delighted to be given the contract and opportunity to really show what our design and sign manufacturing team are capable of, working closely every step of the way with the client.

Major investment in the latest computerised sign manufacturing technology alongside ongoing training for our team enables us to meet the clients requirements every time.
We designed and manufactured a number of LED lit clear acrylic monkeys that were to be used within the windows and externally to create a stunning illuminated display.

The tables within the bar were to be glass topped and they wanted a digitally printed image on each table applied to the reverse of the glass, this proved a very popular choice as it allowed them to be completely unique with the design and created a focal talking point for customers.

The panels of glass within the restrooms were also given the same specifications and we worked closely to design and create images for them that would complement the colour scheme and lighting which is an important element when using images in limited space.
To complete the theme there were numerous designs of digitally printed panels in and around the restaurant and bar, and internal signage that complemented the whole interior design.

We also supplied all of the point of sale material including external menu boards and table menu holders.

The windows had etched vinyl graphics applied with the name of the restaurant designed within, which added a contemporary look to the exterior.

As with most of our projects we get invited back for advice to introduce more elements of signage and displays as the business grows. The Courtyard is no exception to this and we still enjoy working very closely with them on all their current projects.

It was important to the owners to use a local sign company and you don’t get more local than across the road.
Co-owner John Mitchell said;

"From the outset we were insistent on using and supporting a local company to supply us with our signage.

After the initial meeting with Brimark Signs to discuss our designs and requirements for The Courtyard we were extremely impressed with their enthusiasm for our project, which was quite demanding in terms of design, but they worked with us to produce detailed drawings that went over and above our expectations.

It soon became apparent to us that they were more than capable of manufacturing the interior design elements to fit in with the external signage, we have therefore been supplied with finished products that are of a high quality standard that have elevated and complemented the design of our restaurant and bar.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Brimark Signs, they are a professional company whose focus is clearly on the customer.

We continue to use them for all our signage requirements on our current and ongoing projects."
